A banana caterpillar (the Opogona sacchari) ate the new leaves

This Ae Ae has been growing fast in the last 6 weeks

The Talipot palm has a problem

Two months ago I thought the problem was fungus and I treated it for fungus. By the end of the first month the second new leaf was totally brown and I thought that the palm would die. But as the leaf grew some parts were green.

I found a young caterpillar. It was a banana caterpillar the Opogona sacchari. Does anyone know how to kill the caterpillar.
